I Was a Coldwater Cowboy
Relive memories of yesteryear
through the experiences of a
Coldwater Ranch Cowboy.

    In 1942 a young, sixteen-year-old
farm boy left his home near the small town of Wilson, Oklahoma with $5.00
in his pocket and a small bag of clothes.
His trip culminated in an adventure that has stayed with him for a life time.
One morning he found himself in a service station in Amarillo, TX and
within a few days he had been hired
by the manager of Coldwater Ranch.
At the ranch he was quickly accepted
by the other cowboys and so began his adventure of living the cowboy life.
